Louis is a writer, director and theatre maker hailing from the West Midlands. His work blends devising, new writing, and experimental forms to uncover hidden narratives, often drawing from archives to celebrate LGBTQ+ histories. Committed to working in both traditional and unconventional spaces - from theatres to nightclubs - Louis seeks to create intimate, proactive work that centres queer voices and fosters community dialogue.

about

He is currently one of a handful selected to be on Birmingham Hippodrome's new artist development programme, Hippodrome Origins, led by Anna Himali Howard.

In July, he was awarded over £10,000 in Developing Your Creative Practice funding from Arts Council England. This funding supports a project that extends beyond personal development to pose a provocation to the sector: that queer archives should inspire not only the content of performance but also its form.

He recently completed an eight month,
creative residency with Shout Festival, Birmingham.

Earlier this year, his work, Hurts So Good was shortlisted for New Diorama's Untapped Award 2025
